Sunset Park at 2837 139th Avenue SE offers basketball, a playground, open play areas and nature trails. Include it as a separate stop rather than assuming every Eastgate outdoor outing uses the community-center campus. Compare the actual route from each candidate address.
A trail connection is not yet an amenity
The Eastgate/Factoria project page lists a proposed Eastgate Park connection to SE 42nd Street with an estimated summer 2027 completion. As reviewed in October 2026, this should be treated as a planned improvement. Confirm completion before using it in a walking-route comparison.
Check the ravine detour before walking
That same city page reports a closure affecting the northern Sunset Ravine trail and a street-and-sidewalk detour. Save the project notice and check it again before visiting. A green line on an older map is not sufficient evidence that a particular connection is currently passable.
